Some CS users were affected by an authentication failure that occurred on our remote file services. Symptoms included an inability to access certain files or directories, despite having valid credentials. We believe this may have started this past Thursday, February 13th. CIS staff, working with EMC/Dell, located and fixed the problem yesterday, Tuesday, February 18th. During that time, we had numerous reports from grid users and others affected by the problem. At this point, we believe the issue is resolved.
